Today I was looking for forks. You know, the ones that are supposed to reside in the silverware drawer.
I found them.
T, who wonders what my kids are thinking sometimes
Glad you're here! I'm a freelance writer, specializing in autism, special needs and education. I freelance for numerous national publications. This is where I let it all hang out, sans editor.

What who was thinking? The forks? I think perhaps your forks went off on a romantic tryst.
Hundreds of dollars worth of toys that have millions of dollars worth of marketing and advertising and packaging behind them. And what do kids like to play with?
And those utensils - were they forking?
(Sorry. Somebody had to say it.)
Yeah, Sweatpantsmom, I they were erm- forknicating.
Don't knife me, I know I am spooning it on a bit thick.
I am just cracking up here. SO good to know I'm not alone. Our silverware (especially the forks) keeps disappearing, only to be found outside.
If I search my yard I can come up with some friends for those two, the more the merrier!
My "kids" are 18, 16 and 14 and silverware still disappears.
